Madja Entertainment Inc. was founded in 2014 in the Ottawa-Gatineau region by Christian K. Kalambay and Imad Al-Sukkari—two visionary immigrants united by a passion for storytelling. Originally launched as a graphic design company, Madja quickly evolved into a creative hub amplifying diverse, multicultural narratives.
In 2017, Madja released its first feature-length documentary, Canada, The Immigrant Story. Directed by Kalambay, the film follows the journeys of four immigrants, capturing their resilience and contributions to Canadian society. The project marked Madja’s transition into film and television and received major recognition:
