A neighbourhood can tell its story one step at a time.
Tous piétons! – Aylmer Safety & Heritage Initiative is an interactive video project created with MOBI-O, inviting viewers to discover the Vieux-Aylmer neighbourhood through the combined lenses of pedestrian safety and local heritage.
The project places walking at the centre of the experience, showing everyday safety habits while introducing the architectural and historical character of one of Gatineau's oldest neighbourhoods.
By combining mobility, history and community, the video turns a familiar walk through Aylmer into an opportunity to see the neighbourhood differently.

TOUS PIÉTONS!

We all become
pedestrians.

Whether the journey starts on foot, by bicycle, by bus or by car, at some point we all walk.
The video was produced as part of Piétons Québec's Tous Piétons campaign, which places pedestrian mobility and safety at the centre of everyday urban life.
Walking becomes both the subject and the way into the story: a means of moving through the city, noticing the built environment and connecting safety awareness with a sense of place.

THE IDEA

« Nous sommes tous piétons. »
Que la marche soit notre moyen de déplacement principal, celui pour se rendre à l'autobus ou simplement pour traverser la rue une fois son véhicule stationné, nous sommes tous piétons.
Toute l'année, grâce à la marche, nous pouvons découvrir notre environnement sous un nouveau regard. Cette visite nous mène dans le secteur du Vieux-Aylmer à Gatineau et à la découverte des caractéristiques de son patrimoine bâti.
